Our Story
Laughing Buddha Co. was founded through a deeply personal journey — one that taught us how powerful rest can be when the body is given the right environment to heal.
Years ago, our family was navigating chronic pain after a close family member experienced a serious injury that led to multiple surgeries and long-term, chronic pain. As time went on, we were presented with different paths for care — including conventional pharmaceutical options — and we chose to explore gentler, more natural ways to support healing.
We chose to slow down and listen.
What began as a search for alternative pain management and cleaner self‑care evolved into a deeper appreciation for rest itself — for the relief that comes when the nervous system is allowed to fully unwind and the body feels safe enough to soften.
This bath soak was never rushed. We spent over a year testing, reformulating, and sharing it freely with friends, family, and community members, inviting honest feedback and lived experience to guide every decision. Only when it felt truly right did we move forward. At every step, we refused to compromise — keeping our ingredients organic, clean, and intentionally chosen.
Today, we are humbled to hear stories from people across different walks of life who tell us this ritual has become part of their chronic pain care, rest routines, and moments of recovery. What started as something made for our own home has quietly grown into something far greater — and we hold that responsibility with gratitude.
